In Loving Memory of Bruce Cole Vibbert

Bruce Cole Vibbert went home to be with Jesus on May 21, 2026, passing peacefully from natural causes and old age. The Lord answered his final prayer: "Lord, take me home. I'm ready to go home."

Bruce was a man who loved the outdoors. Whether he was fishing, hunting, or camping with family and friends, he found joy in God's creation and the people he shared it with. He was a gentle and giving soul who cared deeply for others and spent much of his life helping those around him. Bruce believed in treating everyone equally, regardless of their circumstances, and that kindness left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Bruce is survived by his children, Jake Vibbert, Celeste Vibbert, and Chenille Vibbert. He was preceded in death by his son, Jim Vibbert; his brothers, Ladd Vibbert, Gary Vibbert, and Jim Vibbert; his parents, Winella and Jim Vibbert; and his first wife, Carolyn Vibbert.

He also leaves behind five grandchildren: Melanie, Avinna, Leah, Jennifer, and Eric Vibbert; and two great-grandchildren, Ava and Faith Vibbert.

Bruce was committed to living a clean life and helping others every day. His sense of humor, quick wit, and love of telling jokes were traits cherished by everyone who knew him. He had a way of making people smile and feel welcome, and his presence brought comfort and laughter wherever he went.

While Bruce will be greatly missed, his family takes comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain and has been welcomed into the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Bruce often said he did not want anyone to cry when he left this world. Instead, he wanted those he loved to celebrate that he had finally reached the Promised Land.

His legacy of kindness, generosity, faith, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
