Janice Kay Elwell

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janice Elwell, who was born on February 20, 1949, and peacefully passed away on July 11, 2026. Janice was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose life was defined by love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Janice shared a beautiful 60-year marriage with her beloved husband, Allen Elwell, before his passing a few years ago. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and countless cherished memories. Their enduring love was an inspiration to all who knew them.

Janice is lovingly survived by her son, Jim Elwell, and her daughter, Jamie Mace. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Cassie Van Winkle, Ashley Elwell, Jason Elwell, and Bradley Mace, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She was also blessed with three treasured great-grandchildren: Camie Karr, Declan Fliehman, and Rowan Fliehman, who brought her endless joy and smiles.

Family was the center of Janice's world. She loved deeply and unconditionally, always putting the needs of those she loved before her own. Whether sharing stories, celebrating milestones, or simply spending time together, she made every moment meaningful. Her warmth, gentle spirit, and caring heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her family finds comfort in knowing Janice is reunited with her beloved husband, Allen, together once again after a lifetime of love.

Janice's legacy lives on through the family she cherished so deeply and through the countless memories they will hold close forever. She will be remembered for her compassion, her strength, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.
