Kathryn Elizabeth (Hufford) MacDonald

Born in Tacoma, WA and settled the second half of her life in Everett and Marysville. She was survived by two daughters, (Heather and Shallon MacDonald), four grandchildren (Brianna Strong, Josh Rock, and Lucia and Derek Meredith) and two brothers (Charles Hufford Jr. and Lonnie Douglas) Devout member of Allen Creek Community Church, she was involved in activities many times a week, and touched all the members of the church. She loved to learn, and teach. A mathematician at heart, Katie would tutor people in math even into her later years. She loved to help people and would share her last if she thought you needed it as much as she did. She also loved all her pets just as if they were members of her family. Survived by one dog, named Stitch (and one stray cat named Bella). She cared about the welfare of all animals, so much that she never went to zoos, and would not eat any thing that used to live and was too “smart” to have sacrificed its life for that. Katie was very much loved, and will be forever missed, by family, friends and the close knit communities of her church and neighborhood.
