William John O'Hara "BILL" of Everett, Washington, passed away on August 5, 2024. He was born on April 25, 1945, in Hayward, Wisconsin. He lived there most of his life. He moved to Everett, WA to be near his daughters, son-in-law and 4 granddaughters. Before starting his family, he was in the National Guard. He has worked in construction, logging, as a heavy equipment driver, and as a supervisor at the Lac Courte Oreilles Casino, where he is also a tribal member.
In his younger years, he enjoyed playing bass guitar and singing in a band, hunting, fishing, and loved his western shows and books. His hobbies were not just pastimes but a reflection of his love for adventure and nature.
Bill was a man of many admirable qualities. He was the "Tough Guy" but he was also sweet, funny, generous, and easy-going. His presence brought light and laughter to everyone and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
He is survived by his Daughters, Angela (Keith) Kakazu and Priscilla O'Hara (Christian Hanson); Granddaughters, Anastacia Kakazu, Kateasha Carley, Phylicia Kakazu and Lacy Carley; Siblings, Richard (Patricia) O'Hara, Franklin (Lynette) Dutcher, Linda (Donald) Whitney, Judy (Henry) Webber, Sandy Dutcher, David (Barbara) Dutcher, Debbie (Charles) Tyrell, and Kenneth Dutcher. Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Dutcher and father, John O'Hara.
Bill O'Hara's legacy is one of love, laughter, and a life well-lived. He will be remembered not just for his accomplishments but for the warmth and joy he brought into the world. His family and friends will gather to honor his memory and celebrate his life, cherishing the countless memories they made together.
